Hopscotch HD

Hopscotch HD is the latest and greatest addition to the growing world of children's programming resources.  This new free app is highly visual, and largely intuitive as a result of the fact that it is based around a drag-and-drop method (as opposed to standard coding with strict syntax).  The creator of the app, Jocelyn Leavitt, said her goal was to "build an interface that was aesthetically appealing, designed for mobile and with kids — specifically girls — in mind.”
